Films
In our program, we empower young people to produce films of their own. Participants work on feature films as well as short films that will be showcased on our YouTube channel. The channel features a variety of series along with films that reflect the real issues happening in our city.
This component is led through every stage of film production from start to finish. Youth are introduced to professional equipment and learn its use and function; concept development and storyboarding; script development; acting; and post-production. Throughout the process, participants gain hands-on experience while building confidence and creative skills. Check out some of the films produced by our young people!
After learning these skill sets, participants collaborate to produce either a short film or a feature film. Once production is complete, we host a showcase where friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate what the youth have created. After completing this component, each participant works on developing their demo reel and receives support in creating their own YouTube channel.

In life, we all have our problems and don’t know where to start to fix them. Olivia & Nicole are two best friends dealing with so much in their personal ife, that now it's getting the best of them. Now, the two are trying to fix their lives before a major casualty happens.
